How to decorate for the Holidays

Hubby tells you he has a meeting the same night as you do.
Hire a sitter.
Go out to meetings.
Come home to find tree up and decorated as well as nativity out, "accents" all over the house.

Scratch your head to figure it out.
Realize your 5 y/old has channeled her "inner Martha Stewart" and has decorated for you.

With the help of an awesome babysitter--the tree is up and done, the Nativity is set out and all the little other things that I usually put up (and some that I don't') are up and all over the place!

Seriously--the kid hung mistletoe! (does she even know what it is??)

Can we do it again next year??

Wow! May I borrow your babysitter?
I don't need a babysitter: kids are 23 & 26, but I'd love to have her come over and decorate for me.

My kids? They're too old for that sort of thing.

I thought the story was leading to your husband fibbed have a meeting and did all the decorating, but, wow - what a twist! That's great that they thought to do that for you.

A couple of years in a row, my step-daughter waited until we went to work, then decorated the house for Christmas. It actually made me angry because I wanted to decorate, too.

Think your sitter would like to drive to TO, watch our kids some time after Christmas and then take down the decorations - that is the part I least enjoy!!! :-)

Everything looks great!

Story of my DREAMS! I wish someone would do that for me. My girls are actually old enough to do the tree and they want too so I can't complain too much.
