It's Thursday already?

Where has this week gone?
oh yeah--I spoke Monday night at Church about our Kenya trip--and as a gift they gave me a Magnetic Poetry for Mothers kit!!

I've always wanted to have one of these and I"m so excited.

I've had 2 playgroups and hubby has been gone on a retreat.
We tried to get out to the park yesterday but when little man woke from his nap and we got ready then it started to rain--again.
Sigh--I'm getting sick of the rain.
literally sick--the rain makes my headaches worse...So let's talk knitting!

I hadn't worked on the hourglass in a about a week--I think I was too much in sockland. But I am about to split for the arms (I think)

Progress shot:

I have finished the S'more Jaywalkers--but ran out of yarn, so they are footies right now. I have a lead on a Sock Saviour, who might have some left overs to send me! I love knitting blogs.

The day I finished them, I didn't even notice that the sweater I was wearing matched almost exactly.

Check this out:

I cast on last night for the Pomatomus socks with the yarn I got from Gromit. The yarn actually spoke to me and said "Pomatomus"--well I don't think it really said that, since I can't pronounced it-but I could see this yarn as those socks--so that's what they will become.

Has anyone knit the Pomatomus? I am having trouble with the pattern. To start the leg it says:

"LegSet-Up Round: [Yo, k2tog, (p1, k1 tbl) five times] to end of round. (The sequence will be repeated twice for each needle, or 6 times in total.) "

Does that mean I do the YO & K2tog 5 times also, or just the (p1,K1tbl) 5 times?

thanks!

Okay, blogger is messing up...I need to walk away. The sun is actually shining today so I think it's a day for a road trip somewhere fun.

I'll write the pattern in a long version, hope that helps:
Sequence is made of: Yo, k2tog, (p1, k1 tbl), (p1, k1 tbl),(p1, k1 tbl),(p1, k1 tbl),(p1, k1 tbl)
Happy hooking
